Who we are
Paamonim stands as a committed non-profit entity in Israel.
We dream of an Israel where families handle their finances with balance, responsibility, and transparency, fortifying our nation’s socioeconomic foundation. Paamonim guides and provides financial support to anyone interested and provides knowledge, tools, and skills for wise financial conduct.
Serving a diverse audience across the country, we offer an extensive array of services and programs available to everyone.
Our Story
Paamonim was founded by Uriel Lederberg in 2002. Uriel’s passion ignited when he met a family struggling with financial hardships stemming from a lack of financial literacy and basic money management skills. What started as a personal mission, transformed into a prominent nonprofit, powered by around 3,000 devoted volunteers.
Our Principles
1
Personal responsibility, mutual responsibility and honesty
These are our core values.
2
Our services are offered to the general public
We help individuals and families develop skills for wise financial conduct as an essential tool for life. The key to success in the process of change depends on the desire and motivation to change habits while being willing to be fully financially transparent. Personal service is provided free of charge.
3
Volunteering
Paamonim is a social organization based on its volunteers. We believe in mutual responsibility and its contribution to improving the company's resilience and its ability to withstand present and future challenges.
4
Public support
Paamonim is an organization that enjoys broad public support, which is expressed by funding the organization's activities through regular donations from tens of thousands of donors from all walks of life, as well as by the broad mobilization of many volunteers who work in the organization and promote its activities.
5
Learning and innovation
With the aim of continuing to adapt the services at paamonim to the changing reality of life in Israel, the organization adopts innovations, implements new educational methodologies and technologies, and encourages thinking outside the box. The implementation of innovation in the organization's processes and activities is made possible due to advanced management methods and a fruitful and dynamic field-headquarters relationship.
6
Evaluation and measurement study
The organization measures its activity frequently, while defining success and output indices and improves its activities accordingly. The organization uses quantitative and qualitative assessment and measurement tools (questionnaires, surveys, data mining, interviews and observations). The organization also maintains contact with academic and research institutions and researches trends in the field of financial education and their implementation in Israel and abroad.
7
Collaborations
The organization cooperates with government ministries, the public and business sectors, as well as other organizations in the third sector. We work alongside and in coordination with local social services bureaus throughout the country, in cooperation with local organizations and NGOs.
