Once again, you have the opportunity to fulfill the mitzvah of Matanot La’evyonim (gifts to the needy) on Purim. Following the success of last year’s campaign, Paamonim is once again offering an easy and convenient way to perform this mitzvah via the internet or phone.

Throughout the year, Paamonim supports thousands of families across the country, helping them on their path to financial stability. As Purim approaches, the organization’s volunteers have identified families in urgent need of financial assistance. These families’ names were submitted to a special committee, which carefully reviewed each request to ensure that donations reach those who need them most on Purim Day.
How Does It Work?
Before or on Purim Day, donors appoint Paamonim as their emissary (shaliach) to distribute Matanot La’evyonim on their behalf. This is done by simply selecting the date for your donation (14th of Adar or 15th of Adar) and contributing through a secure online platform. Donations will be distributed to needy families on Purim Day itself, ensuring that the mitzvah is fulfilled “on the same day.”
Other donation methods are also available, including phone, bank transfer, and check delivery.
The distribution will be carried out in cooperation with Paamonim’s volunteers, who work with these families year-round. This strengthens the connection between the volunteers and the families while enhancing the joy of the holiday.
