How do you teach financial education at camp?
Camp activities combine learning with experience. At the activity center – a game of “ladders and ropes” adapted to the age of the participants. Progress during the game depends on answering questions and tasks about wise financial conduct correctly. For example: “You received NIS 50 – Hanukkah money from your grandparents. What are you going to do with the money?”
The game is a peak activity of parents and children together, and its goals are to encourage a dialogue between parents and children on the subject of wise economic conduct, and to develop awareness of the subject from an early age.
Volunteers with attitude and desire are invited to take part
The activity will take place in a number of schools in Israel. Paamonim volunteers are invited to participate in activities and serve as spectators or supporters at the game tables at one of theschools in their area. A detailed explanation of the activity will be sent to: inbalkito@gmail.com
